Chenoweth was born in China and adopted at 14 months old. Her family moved to Ann Arbor, MI where she grew up and began playing hockey at age 6. She has spent a majority of her 16 year hockey career in goal. After a year at the University of Michigan Chenoweth enlisted in the United States Marine Corps as a 2141 (Amphibious Assault Vehicle Mechanic). Upon completion of her MOS school she was stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA. At the rank of Corporal she was accepted into the United States Naval Academy and joined the class of 2022 as a Naval Architecture major. Her previous hockey teams include: Ann Arbor Cougars, Compuware Hockey, USA Hockey National Selects Camp, Father Gabriel Richard of Ann Arbor Men’s Hockey, and the University of Michigan Women’s Hockey. She hopes to commission back into the Marine Corps as a Ground Officer.
