Taylor Sparks, from Fort Wayne, IN, is in the 4th Company. This past November she service selected Navy Pilot and will be heading down to Pensacola, FL after graduation. She is a political science major and is receiving a minor in Russian. At USNA she is involved in many clubs and activities to include the Naval Academy Leadership Conference, the Naval Academy Foreign Affairs Conference, and the Stockdale Center for Leadership. Taylor joined the hockey team in the spring of her 2/C year after playing softball. Prior to that she had never played hockey on an official team. She decided to play hockey at USNA because she wanted to try something new and challenge herself with some of her friends who were already on the team. She claims that the switch to hockey is one of the best decisions she has ever made.
