The Men's Navy Hockey Team is currently 0-8 to start the season after tough back-to-back weekends against highly ranked opponents.

After dropping the first two games of the season the the University of Cincinnati and University of Maryland D2 teams, the Navy men's team bounced back with two strong performances against ranked teams the following two weekends.

The Men's team welcomed the University of Ohio, ranked #3 and last year's national runner-ups. Navy lost both games 6-2 and 4-1 on Saturday but the crowd was fierce, and Navy stood as a tough opponent against the highly skilled Ohio Team. It was a great experience to welcome them on the Yard, and a great experience for Navy to play one of the nation's most premier hockey programs.

The following weekend, the Midshipmen split games home and away with the University of Delaware, #21. Again, Navy lost both games 3-0 and 2-4, but continued to improve as a young and talented team.

This weekend is the Mids chance to enact revenge on ECHA league rivals Towson University who stole both the Crabpot and ECHA championships away from Navy. Matthew Stamler (9pts), Joe Kelley (6 pts), and strong goaltending from Luke Markus look to lead Navy's D1 to the first of many victories this season.

Navy has 3 home games at the Brigade Sports Complex this weekend including the Towson league-opener:

Fri, 13 OCT vs Towson  -  1930

Sat, 14 OCT vs William Patterson - 1930

Sun, 15 OCT vs William Patterson - 1400* TIME CHANGE
