The Class of 2014
Annapolis, MD: Navy Hockey announces it will recognize the Class of 2014 on Saturday, 01-March-2014 when it plays host to the United States Military Academy.
In a shift from tradition, Navy Hockey announces it will honor its Seniors on Saturday, 01-March-2014 when Army visits Annapolis for the second annual Army-Navy Hockey Game.
"We couldn't think of a more fitting game to send our seniors off," said Ben Berkey, Navy's Director of Hockey Operations. "This game will be the last homestand of the 2013-2014 season and will be the last time these seniors play at McMullen Arena as a Navy Midshipmen."
Offensively, Navy is led by four dynamic seniors each playing their role in a cohesive and flourishing squad.
The defensive corps is led by 2 seniors who have been integral parts of both special teams units.
Andrew Mills (Sewickley, PA) has proven to be one of the best goaltenders in the country, and his play is absolutely crucial to team success. Simply put, with Mills in net, Navy is a national contender.
Puck drop is slated for 8:30pm on Saturday, 01-March-2014. The Class of 2014 and their parents will be honored at a ceremony prior to gametime. The Guest of Honor for the game has yet to be announced.
