Berchtesgaden, Germany: On Monday, December 30, 2019, Team USA Military won their first overseas game, defeating EV Berchtesgaden by a score of 8 – 5.

In another festive game reminiscent of a Bundesliga game, with cow bells and flag waving, the hosts put on a great show with some pregame festivities that included many younger hockey players.

The arena, nestled in the mountains provided a scenic backdrop.

The home team, just like the Baden Rhinos the night before, used the friendly as an opportunity to do some fundraising for cancer. After the game was complete, several of the host players visited with Team USA in the locker room, prior to the whole Berchtesgaden team joining Team USA and their families for dinner at a local restaurant.
