Navy ACHA D1:

The boys would finally have a weekend back in Annapolis. This time hosting William Paterson University on Friday night and In-state rival Towson University Saturday.  To Friday night we go,  William Paterson would take a 4-2 lead going into the final period ( most dangerous lead in hockey). Navy would cut the lead down to one with a goal from Conner Hyden only to see WPU take back the two goal cushion 3 minutes later. The score would stay 5-3 until John Scaccia found the back of the net with 3:32 left to play in the game.  The Mids would fight to find a tying goal and with 4 seconds to play, they would get that from the stick of Conner Hyden. Now 5-5 we go to overtime! After a 5 minute OT we still couldn't find a winner. The game would be determined in a Shootout that would see WPU come away with the W. Final 6-5 WPU in a Shootout.

Saturday night the Towson Tigers would come to Annapolis in a game that the MIDS had total control of. Casey McCormick had 31 save shutout and Navy's offence would see 6 players have a 2 point game.(Scaccia, Jamieson, C. Hyden, Giannini, Kelly and Mullen) Final score Navy 6-0 over Towson
