Here is your weekly Navy hockey update:

Navy ACHA D1:

The boys hit the road again for two big ECHA league games.  Friday night's game in Bethlehem, PA against Lehigh University was a back and forth game until Navy's Joe Kelly found the back of the net with 3:02 to go in the second period to put the Mids up 4-3. After Kelly's goal it was all Navy, John Mullen and Conner Hyden would add to the scoring in the third to see the Mids come away with a 6-3 win. Saturday night's match-up would take the Mids into New Jersey to play  William Paterson. The Mids controlled the first and second period taking a 3-1 lead into the locker room thanks to the work of John Scaccia, Conner Hyden and Joe Kelly. The story  of the third was Navy's Penalty Kill. The Mid's would kill 4 out of the 5  penalties to hold onto a 3-2 win!

Sunday 's game the Mids played another great team and host Liberty University. Liberty would put 52 shots on goal and Navy's Shannon Hart would stop 48 of them. Liberty would prove to be too much and hold the Mids to one goal from Lauren Powers. Final Liberty 4- Navy 1
